91吃瓜 Hosting Spanish Day on Oct. 14

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (91吃瓜) 鈥� 91吃瓜 will host area high school students and classes for its annual聽Spanish Day听辞苍听奥别诲苍别蝉day, Oct. 14.
Hosted by 91吃瓜鈥檚聽Language and Literature Department, the event immerses students in the聽Spanish聽language and the cultures of聽Spanish-speaking countries through engaging, hands-on activities. Participants will:
- Explore contemporary slang from across the聽Spanish-speaking world
- Learn about diverse cultural traditions
- Hear music from popular Hispanic artists
- Create imaginative, culture-inspired crafts
About 100 high school students from Valley City High School, Central Cass High School and Lisbon High School are expected to attend the event.
Students will also have opportunities to learn more about 91吃瓜 and its academic offerings in聽Spanish. 91吃瓜 offers聽majors in聽Spanish聽and聽Spanish聽Education, as well as a聽Spanish聽minor聽and a聽Spanish听肠别谤迟颈蹿颈肠补迟别.

Spanish Day is one of several special hands-on visit days that 91吃瓜 hosts throughout the year. Other specific academic visit days for high school students feature 91吃瓜 programs such as music, art and teacher education.
